The meaning of broth...

So last week we went along to the Sustainable Business Network Christmas party.

We took some broths along, and chewed the fat with some of the fabulous SBN people.

Rod Oram asked me about the origins of the word 'Broth,' so we turned to Dr Google and discovered that it has a fairly complex history. In the simplest terms 'broth' means 'brew,' however it is also linked to the word 'brothel' via some rather interesting analogies. For any logophiles (word-lovers) out there - here is the more complete explanation.

I also caught up with the amazing Honeywrap team and learned this fun fact: One Honeywrap will replace about 75 meters of plastic cling film. So should you only finish half a 'brew' and need a way to store it covered in the fridge - Honeywraps are perfect!
